With the end of the book, this one does end in a cliffhanger, leaving you with more questions.

In the end do you think yet to know the characters, sure we'll find out more about Sadie at least in the novella after this. By the end of the book you have the lingering suspicion of what's going on with Sadie, but that’s it, her story is just unfolding. The story has a nice pace with a lot going on that will keep the reader wanting more.

A tale that is all of action packed, with a hint of romance, set in a Sci-Fi/ Dystopian setting. With Sadie’s character evolving, taking her stand where she feels must, against a corrupt government, but what is the cost to keep humanity safe, her family? What will happen to Sadie and Logan’s budding romance with the odds are stacking against them. The second novel keeps the reader hooked starting from the first page all the way until the end. With any series, the first gives you the information you need to know, as the first started of a little slow the second does not fail to grab ones attention. The Genesis is the beginning of the tale of an inseparable group of young and reckless men, and their journey through the treacherous terrain, better known as the streets.Another successful book by Siobhan Davis in The Saven Series, while I enjoyed the first book in this series, the second book takes the series up to a whole new level. Living on the wrong side of the law ultimately lands KD in a situation so harsh that, to protect him, his uncle is forced to send him back to Africa. With unshaken loyalty, love, and trust among them, and a strong backing, the young men take the streets of New York by storm. Developing an unbreakable bond with Juan Dolla Sanchez and Roberto Poundz Sanchez, friends from his childhood neighborhood, KD embarks on a quest to achieve success in the drug game at all costs.

KD's struggles continue as he finds himself becoming a product of the crime-infested neighborhood he grew up in. KD goes on to endure the struggles of growing up and adjusting to the conditions of his new home, ultimately stumbling down the wrong path during his early adult ages. His maternal grandmother's desperate cry for help for the poor boy results in his distant uncle, Black, migrating a young KD to the United States for a better life. In this compelling suspenseful urban thriller, we meet King KD Diamond, a five year old orphan from West Africa, who loses his family tragically to a house fire.
